Another fine creation. I'm curious how you made the bindings. Dyed or colored I assume.
I've been trying to get a similar effect, and the closest I've been able to manage is using hemp cord.

It's jute string mixed with epoxy, painted with acrylics; base coat burnt umber,drybrush with some white,then antiqued with brown stain. Thanks for the compliment and let me know how the technique works for you.
